Women's Resource Centre - Ending violence against women | Andhra Pradesh India

Violence against women is a widespread problem. Countless women are subjected to physical, emotional, and psychological violence at home and in their communities. Despite legal protections and awareness campaigns, many women continue to suffer in silence due to a lack of support and resources.

The Dhaathree Foundation is a registered non-profit women's organization that has been active in the Chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh for several years. It founded the Women's Resource Centre (WRC – Ending Violence Against Women) and is committed to serving neglected and stigmatized populations. Its focus is on healthcare, psychosocial counseling, legal assistance, education, as well as continuing professional development and the establishment of women's self-help groups. The main goal of the project is the rehabilitation of affected women, their economic empowerment, and the creation of a safe and inclusive environment in which they can rebuild their lives.
